When determining club selection on uphill or downhill shots, it’s hard to
know exactly how many yards to add or subtract to the yardage. Well, you no
longer have to perform trigonometry in your head to know how long a shot plays,
thanks to Bushnell’s newest rangefinder, the Tour V2.
Featuring a built-in inclinometer to provide the player with a compensated
distance based upon the degree of incline or decline, the V2 provides
instantaneous measurements in yards and meters with a margin of error of just
one yard. The device has a range of up to 300 yards to the flagstick and 700
yards to trees without the need for reflectors.
While the inclinometer isn’t legal for tournament or handicap-posting
purposes, it can be switched on and off. The compact V2 weights just 6.6 ounces
and has ergonomic, high-tack grip for enhanced feel and stability. Other
features include 5x magnification, in-view LCD display and adjustable
eyepiece.
